In recent Diablo III beta release date news, it appears the third installment of the popular role-playing game could be coming in the very near future for gamers. As fans scratch their heads wondering, "when will Diablo 3 be released?" a recent clue may be the announcement of a press tour scheduled to begin in August of this year.
The chief executive of Blizzard Entertainment, Mike Morhaime, has stated the company is planning a beta release date sometime in the third quarter. That would seem to indicate the Diablo III beta gets an official release date before September 30th. The official version of the game would be released sometime in the fourth quarter.
Morhaime is quoted as saying:
"The development team is working hard to try and launch 'Diablo III' this year. But I want to be clear that we do not have an official release date or window yet. As always, we will not compromise the quality of the game in order to hit a window."
This past weekend Blizzard Entertainment unveiled what appears to be the Diablo 3 beta's game box cover art, which is another hint the game's first version is on the way. A teaser trailer has also been in existence for a little while now. Diablo III is currently among the most anticipated titles of the year for gamers, with the last edition of the game, Diablo II, released in 2000.
The Diablo game features a medieval-style quest, with players able to kill monsters and other enemies, learn magic, and collect loot or other weapons. There's interactive online play as well, making for a truly satisfying gaming experience for many players. Diablo III will feature five choices for character type, as well as the ability to choose gender. The game will also feature a unique "player vs. player" combat system.

It seems like they are on the right track to provide a compelling game in the vein of their other hugely successful title, World of Warcraft. The good news appears to be that Diablo 3 is closer to a release date, at least in the beta stage, meaning fans will get their hands on the real deal before they know it.
