Juneteenth San Marcos Celebration
Parade at 10:30 a.m. today. Route begins at Dunbar Community Center, 801 Martin Luther King Drive, and ends at City Park. Barbecue cook-offs begin at noon at City Park. A cake auction will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins St. www.juneteenthsanmarcos.com.
Georgetown Juneteenth celebration
Noon today. Program followed by lunch, games and activities; raffle tickets available for $1. Georgetown Community Center, 445 E. Morrow St. Admission is free, donations accepted. www.georgetown.org.
Juneteenth Historical Parade and Park Celebration
10 a.m. today. Parade route begins at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Comal Street and ends at Rosewood Park, 2300 Rosewood Ave., where a celebration with live entertainment and children's games and activities will be held from noon to 9 p.m.
