Mark Herzlich appears to finally have a home after agreeing to a deal in principle with the Baltimore Ravens.
Out of the group of 2011 undrafted free agents, perhaps no player had a higher profile than former Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich. Herzlich is well known in large part because of his inspirational story, but he is also an intelligent linebacker with loads of talent.
Before his battle with Ewing’s sarcoma, Herzlich was considered a first round prospect. He has not been able to fully return to his old form, but he is now cancer free and has proven he can overcome anything.
Herzlich is a smart linebacker that is a known hard worker. He will be able to learn the ins and outs of the NFL from Ray Lewis and hopefully find himself having a successful NFL career. Herzlich is the kind of guy that you can’t help but root for.
