It's fitting that Severus Snape won MTV's Harry Potter World Cup on Monday, because from where we're standing, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is as much his story as it is Harry and Voldemort's.
We got our hands on a brand new featurette that underlines Snape's tale over the course of the films as they wind to a close, and we'd be lying if we said it isn't one of the aspects of "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" we most look forward to. The conclusion of the Prince's tale -- is he good or is he evil?! -- is, as producer David Heyman says, more complicated than we could have guessed.
"All of my characters are flawed," author J.K. Rowling says in the video. "I don't think we have a single wholly good or wholly bad character, with the exception of Voldemort."
It's something we love most about Rowling's work, and to go into too much more detail would most likely spoil the beauty of Harry's revelations about Snape for the uninitiated. Our advice: get yourself a ticket to "Part 2" if you don't have one already, and join us in worshipping Alan Rickman as the acting god that he is.
