Maria Shriver follows Elin Nordegren’s lead by buying a post-divorce home in close proximity to the home of her soon-to-be ex-husband.
Both Maria and Elin are victims of infidelity, which led to their divorce.
USA Today reports that 9 days after filing for her divorce from Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver has bought a $10 million mansion in Brentwood, an exclusive area of Los Angeles, not far from the marital home she shared with Arnold Schwarzenegger before their pending divorce.
After a 6-month search for a home on the west side of Los Angeles Maria has finally settled on a home approximately 3 miles from the Schwarzenegger estate, which Schwarzenegger will retain as part of the Schwarzenegger – Shriver divorce settlement.
You may recall that after an extensive 8-month search, Elin Nordegren recently purchased a $12 million beachfront estate in south Florida in close proximity to Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Island estate.
