No longer do the LED daytime running lights on the Audi A5 look like an afterthought. Thanks to the reshaped headlights on Audi’s A5 appears more purposeful than before and should keep premium coupe buyers interested in the car until a new model is unveiled in a few years. Do you agree? Let’s take a walk around the 2013 A5.
In front are those reshaped headlights with a far more dynamic LED daytime running light design than before. Along with the redone grille to match Audi’s evolving family look, the 2013 A5 has a much angrier appearance than before.
The A5′s profile is largely unchanged except for the addition of new wheel styles. That’s not a bad thing: there wasn’t really anything wrong with the 2010 A5, which is pictured in the gallery below. The story is much the same when you move toward the A5′s trunk. The taillights are the same shape but look more modern and the lower rear fascia has been tastefully updated. Aside from those changes, the 2013 A5 retains the same basic design cues as before.
A revised steering wheel headlines the changes on the 2013 Audi’s interior. The driver-oriented cockpit keeps the outgoing car’s teardrop-like instrument cluster. Really, this Refreshing/Revolting is all about the redone new front end.
