Friend was announced as the 2011 winner at the annual American Business Awards Gala, which took place Monday, June 20, at the Marriott Hotel in New York City.
Friend's vision and leadership have consistently driven the Carbonite team to develop industry-leading online backup solutions for both consumer and small-business audiences. Last week, the company launched Carbonite Business, a solution with a low, flat-rate pricing model specifically designed to address the backup requirements, budgets, security and accessibility needs of small businesses.
