The Center for Disease Control has offered free ecards to those children to thank their dad for not smoking.  The CDC aims to make the day smke-free for those people and to thank them the organization has a link to send free ecards.

With June 18 celebrated as Father's Day, the CDC is using the chance to urge all men to quit smoking and making the day smoke free.  According to the government website, "Despite the highly addictive properties of nicotine, these dads succeeded in quitting, and in doing so, became role models for other smokers in their families and communities."

The website also details how second hand smoke might be cause for hurting their children with the smoke containing over 7,000 chemicals such as butane, formaldahyde and ammonia.  The free ecards offered for today send a message of thanks from the children to their parent to stop the smoking habit at least for today and hopefully the long term.

The CDC website offers several articles on second hand smoke, lung disease from smoking and the effects of the second hand smoke for children specifically who are around parents that smoke.
