Less than 20 hours after Kenny Chesney walked off stage Saturday night at Lambeau Field, his production crew had his mighty Goin’ Coastal Tour loaded back up onto semis and headed for Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, where they’ll do it all over again this Saturday.

After decades of speculation about whether Lambeau would ever host a major concert. After seven months of anticipation for excited fans who had their tickets before Christmas. After a week of erecting a stage that made Green Bay feel like it had somehow won the Super Bowl of concert tours, too.

The euphoria over the country superstar’s milestone visit to Lambeau, however, well, that’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
For the 45,446 who were witness to it, the gushing goes on.
“It was the best concert I have ever been to,’’ Kim Busakowski of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula wrote in an email (and yep, she was the one wearing the “Mrs. Chesney’’ T-shirt that night). “This was my fifth time seeing Kenny, but this was the best! Everyone was awesome. I must admit, being a Packer fan, it made it even better.’’
