Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress Is To Go On Display At Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame

Friday, 17 June 2011

Lady Gaga has become much much more than just a pop star, she’s also a big cultural influence. She is known just as much for her strange antics and interesting style choices as she’s known for her music. It looks like one of her biggest style-related stunts is getting a little more recognition.
Lady Gaga shocked many people(fans and non-fans alike) when she wore a dress that was made from real beef and now the dress is back. The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame will proudly put this meat dress on display for the special exhibit “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power. If you’re wanting to know how they preserved the dress, it was reported that it was kept in a meat locker where they covered it in chemicals, dried it out, and painted it to keep it looking fresher. This dress was first seen on Lady Gaga during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, where she accepted an award for the “Bad Romance” video.
As I’ve said before, I am not a fan of hers but I do think its interesting that they actually saved the meat dress. What do you think of Lady Gaga’s dress? Do you think that this dress should have been saved for an exhbit?
